The Bay City Flyers Club operates the Area 52 field, located near Land O’Lakes, Florida. Directions to the field can be found on this website.
If you would like to check out this field, please contact a Club’s Officer and make an appointment.
The Area 52 field is located within the Conner Preserve, which is officially open to Hikers and Bikers. SWFWMD, the Area 52 landlord, requires the main gate to be locked at all times, therefore an Officer will be happy to arrange a time to meet and show you around.
Please note that the Area 52 main gate must be locked both after you are entering and when leaving the flying field.
Do not at any time allow anyone to follow you in, other than BCF Members. Immediately lock the gate after you enter. Equestrians (horse back riders) with the proper permits from SWFWMD will have the SWFWMD lock combination.
